For Marvel’s Jessica Jones, the team created a moody, painterly vision of New York by blending live-action paint elements with photography, drawing inspiration from David Mack’s original artwork and the city’s nocturnal character; purple-toned palettes, layered imagery, and subtle parallax brought Jessica’s shadowed world to life.
